On June 25, UFV celebrated Pride with the third annual Tea Dance \u2014 with this year featuring Drag Musical Bingo hosted by UFV’s own Colin Alda Monsters!<\/a> The event was hosted and organized by Sustainable UFV<\/a> and CHASI, with support from UFV’s Faculty and Staff Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the same day, our friends at UFV’s autonomous student newspaper, The Cascade<\/a><\/em>, published a four-page collaboration with CHASI titled “Queer on campus.<\/a>” The article features reflections from members of the CHASI team on their experiences of being queer, being allies, and how their time at CHASI has impacted those journeys.<\/p>\n

Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make these collaborations happen! Maintaining a culture of visible, outspoken pride on campus is essential to the social well-being of our community, and as always, we plan to continue our advocacy year-round.<\/p>\n
