Today is International Women\u2019s Day! Our artist, Sharon Strauss, marked the occasion with this beautiful illustration. CHASI takes pride in being a women-led and directed centre at UFV. We hope everyone can take some time today to celebrate women! Here are some ideas:<\/p>\n

Something to watch:<\/strong> If you\u2019re staying in tonight, we recommend watching the movie \u201cHidden Figures\u201d (2016). Hidden Figures is a 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi. It is loosely based on the 2016 non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly about three female African-American mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Space Race.<\/p>\n
