What do I need to know?
UFV furniture supplier Heritage will be bringing in semi trailers with furniture over the course of the two weeks. These trailers will be blocking access to the areas immediately in front of building C.
Foot traffic will be impacted as the crosswalk will be blocked. Barriers will be put up to provide a safe passage for foot traffic across this area.
The furniture will be for D3 and GDD (building C). There will be some noise with the move, however Heritage has been advised that there will be exams taking place and classes still in session, and to be mindful of this. Access to the building D elevator will also have limited access as the furniture company will be utilizing it.
Why?
To furnish the newly renovated D3 floor and the building C GDD classrooms.
Who is impacted?
Anyone that frequently uses the parking area between building B and C, and any occupants of each building.
What do I need to do?
Please be aware of the blockage between B and C building, and that the elevator in building D will be used by the movers. To avoid any delays please add a few minutes extra to your commute, and use the stairs in D building, if possible.
