The event will take place on November 7, 5:30-7:30pm, at SFU Harbour Centre Campus.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll learn the fundamentals of communications planning and how to develop a plan from scratch. As this is a hands-on workshop, you\u2019ll leave ready to rock. While she\u2019s been an independent consultant for most of her career, she\u2019s also held a number of in-house corporate communications roles and managed a public relations firm. Always linking activities to the big picture, Erin works closely with her clients to ensure initiatives are aligned with business objectives, and activities are meaningful and results-oriented.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteering and mentoring fill a lot of Erin\u2019s days, as she believes that saying yes to a variety of experiences teaches us things we wouldn\u2019t necessarily set out to learn. It\u2019s not a surprise that she\u2019s been actively involved with our chapter for more than two decades.
