GIVING STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSFORM AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOUSING IN CANADA<\/strong><\/p>\n In April, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation announced that the federal government\u2019s Affordable Rental Innovation Fund was to launch a Student Challenge for Affordable Rental Housing in September\u00a02017.<\/p>\n September 19th<\/sup> marked the official launch of the Student Challenge for Affordable Rental Housing<\/strong>. This challenge is an exciting opportunity for any student registered in an accredited post-secondary educational institution in Canada who has a new and fresh approach to affordable rental housing.<\/p>\n Participants can work individually or create a team, the goal is to rethink and revolutionize the affordable rental housing sector throughout the country. Cash prizes of $10\u00a0000 will be awarded to winning submissions<\/strong>. In addition, winners may be eligible for funding to help transform their innovative concept into a tangible project.
