- 2025 International Triennial Graphics \u2013 Color in Graphics \/ Traces Exhibition<\/em> in collaboration with Wozownia Art Gallery, Toru\u0144, Poland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Criminology and Criminal Justice<\/strong><\/h2>\n

- Accountability in Palestine – Dr. Mark Kersten, Assistant Professor of Criminology, presented Troubled Waters but Reasons to Hope: The Future of the International Criminal Court and Accountability in Palestine<\/em> at Langara College in January.<\/li>\n
- UFV\u2019s Faculty of Criminology and Criminal Justice made significant contributions to the Western Society of Criminology Annual Conference (February 6-8, 2025, Seattle, WA) through the following presentations:\n

- Amanda McCormick & Dr. Zina Lee, Associate Professors of Criminology, presented The Impact of Court Rulings on Sexual Assault Investigations <\/em>(with Negrin, S.).<\/li>\n
- Erin Osterberg, Associate Professor of Criminology, spoke about Unanticipated Consequences: The Perils of \u201cCatch and Release\u201d in Drug Investigations<\/em> (with Davies, G., & Champion, A.).<\/li>\n
- Irwin Cohen & Dr. Kevin Burk, Associate Professors of Criminology, discussed The Challenges That Technology and Court Rulings Present for Homicide Investigations<\/em> (with Pastia, C.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Psychology<\/strong><\/h2>\n

- Andrea Albonico, Assistant Professor of Psychology, published two research articles\n
\n
- The first one about Reading words versus seeing font or handwriting style: a study of hemifield processing<\/a>. This article was made in collaboration with other professionals from other institutions, and is now part of the Experimental Brain Research<\/em>, a journal founded in 1966 that\u00a0constantly publishes original contributions on many aspects of experimental research of the central and peripheral nervous system.<\/li>\n
- The second one is called Imagery and perception in acquired prosopagnosia: Functional variants and their relation to structure<\/a>. The research report was made in collaboration with other professionals from other institutions, and is now part of the Cortex, a Journal devoted to the Study of the Nervous System and Behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Arts & Integrated Studies<\/strong><\/h2>\n

- Dr. Dale McCartney, Assistant Professor of Arts & Integrated Studies, participated in a UBC-hosted discussion on The Crash of the International Student “Market”<\/em> as part of the Green College Special Event series.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Political Science<\/strong><\/h2>\n

- Noah Schwartz, Assistant Professor of Political Science published an article called \u201cGrandpa Joe\u2019s hunting rifle: morality policy framing in Canadian Parliament\u201d in the journal Policy Sciences<\/em>, that encourages a diversity of perspectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
