As usual, UFV was a busy place over the past few weeks. Hundreds attended Abbyfest, the multicultural community festival that was held on the Abbotsford campus for the first time. See photos<\/a>. See Storify summary<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Newman Western Canadian Cookbook collection had a successful launch as celebrants tasted samples from Good Food Tells a Story, the new UFV cookbook. See photos<\/a>. See Storify summary<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The English department presented Lit Up in The Valley<\/a> in partnership with Abbotsford’s Kariton House gallery. It was an evening of reflection about the writing process, capped off with readings by several UFV-connected authors.<\/p>\n

The launch for Mis(Interpretation), an exhibit looking at Sikhism from a feminist perspective, was a well attended and successful event. See photos<\/a>. See Storify summary<\/a>.<\/p>\n
