It is proposed that the university needs to establish a policy governing instructional complaints. At one time, UFV did have such a policy, but because of indeterminacies and ambiguities in some of its language, and pursuant to a request launched by the Faculty and Staff Association at that time, it was withdrawn.<\/p>\n
This policy is based on the existing \u2018dean\u2019s guidelines for instructional complaints\u2019, but now more clearly defines what constitutes an instructional complaint; provides definitions and general criteria for the processing of such complaints.<\/p>\n
