The UFV Cascades women\u2019s soccer team pulled what they might bitterly consider a \u201cTrinity Western\u201d this weekend by foiling the TRU WolfPack\u2019s hopes of victory with two late goals. The Cascades were victims of a similar outcome last weekend in their season opener against TWU, yet UFV showed no remorse in coming from behind to disillusion the WolfPack on home turf in Kamloops. UFV improves to 3-1-0 on the year.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am proud of our team for showing the character to come back and claim all three points against a well organized TRU team,\u201d said coach Rob Giesbrecht. \u201cWe were sluggish to start and lacked urgency in our play, but I thought the second half was excellent. We were a more assertive in our attack and even after going a goal down we kept battling and earned the comeback win.\u201d<\/p>\n
