Excerpted from the Victoria Times Colonist:<\/p>\n<p>The Dishrags \u2014 singer-guitarist Jill (Jade Blade) Bain, singer-bassist Chris (Dale Powers) Lalonde, and drummer Carmen (Scout) Michaud \u2014 flamed out after a three-year run. But in that time, they broke down all sorts of barriers.<\/p>\n<p>According to experts such as Jason Flower, the Dishrags were the first punk band in Victoria and one of the first all-female punk acts in North America.
