Exams can feel overwhelming, especially for first-year students. To ease the pressure, Supported Learning Group leaders host three-hour mock exam sessions that give students a low-stakes chance to test their knowledge, practise time management, and pick up effective study strategies.<\/p>\n

These sessions aren\u2019t just practice exams, they\u2019re designed to build confidence. One leader schedules hers at least a week before finals, encouraging students to study in smaller, manageable chunks rather than cramming. The result? Better retention and less stress.<\/p>\n

Leaders also add fun twists, like the acronym LOSERS: Linking concepts, Organizing material, Summarizing, Extrapolating, Reinforcing, and Sharing ideas. By blending realistic practice with smart study habits, SLG mock exam sessions help students walk into exams prepared, confident, and in control<\/p>\n
