Most thefts happen when laptops are left in cars, even for a short time.<\/li>\n<li>No stickers: While it might be tempting to personalize your device, adding stickers or adhesives can interfere with repairs or replacement down the road.<\/li>\n<li>Clean gently and regularly: A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth can help keep the screen and keyboard in good condition.<\/li>\n<li>Care for the battery: Use your charger when possible to help extend battery life.<\/li>\n<li>Be cautious around food and drinks: Avoid eating or drinking near your laptop, and use a carrying case when transporting it.<\/li>\n<li>Leave repairs to us: If something\u2019s not working right, please submit a ticket to the UFV IT Service Desk, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itservicedesk.ufv.ca\">www.itservicedesk.ufv.ca<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Lost or stolen?
