On June 24, the UFV Library’s main Find It search and other EBSCO database interfaces will be updated.<\/p>\n

UFV Library vendor EBSCO is updating the user interface. EBSCO states “We are redesigning the EBSCOhost experience and user interface to meet ever-evolving user expectations for accessing, searching, choosing and using the library\u2019s resources. We are introducing many new features including personalized dashboards, new ways to share and save resources, reading eBooks, and much more. ” (EBSCO FAQ May 2025)<\/p>\n

UFV Library has a sandbox version you can explore for a preview of the interface update https:\/\/libguides.ufv.ca\/databases\/ebsconewuserinterface<\/a><\/p>\n

Please note: the interface update is for how the search portal will look and is not impacting the content of the databases.<\/p>\n

The Library will be working on updating all our research support materials including guides, videos, and tutorials in the summer to reflect the interface changes.<\/p>\n
