Leanne Joe is offering beginner language sessions for greetings and territorial place names.<\/p>\n
Do you want to learn how to introduce yourself in Halq\u2019em\u00e9ylem, practice pronouncing the names of the local First Nations, and learn some of the history of Halq\u2019em\u00e9ylem and our sister dialects?<\/p>\n
If you are staff or faculty at UFV and said yes to one or all of these, Leanne would love to have you join one of her Halq\u2019em\u00e9ylem sharing sessions.<\/p>\n
An in-person session takes place Monday, April 28 from noon to 12:50 pm in room A2428 on the Chilliwack campus. Another takes place Thursday, May 1 from noon to 12:50 in room G124 on the Abbotsford campus.<\/p>\n
