Two teams, two restaurants, two nights. This means <em>war<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The menu for this pop-up dinner is created by UFV Professional Cook 1 students, and their restaurant is <em>The Velvet Spoon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>View the menu below and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/ufv-culinary-arts-presents-restaurant-wars-night-1-the-velvet-spoon-tickets-1141094828349?aff=UFV\">click here for tickets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Starter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marinated Young Mozzarella, Beet Salad.<\/p>\n<p>Balsamic Chia Vinaigrette, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Strawberries<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Course<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seared Steelhead.<\/p>\n<p>Grape Tomato &amp; Lemon Risotto<\/p>\n<p>Bearnaise, Asparagus<\/p>\n<p>Palette Cleanser<\/p>\n<p>Sweetened Ginger Tea<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dessert<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spiced Blood Orange Cake.<\/p>\n<p>White Chocolate Mousse<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Doors open at 5 pm and dinner begins at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Substitutions to the menu cannot be made, however, exceptions can be made for allergies at the discretion of the teams cooking. This is a teaching kitchen environment and ingredients may come into contact with common food allergens.<\/p>\n<p>Pay parking is in effect.
