On Friday, Nov 1 from noon to 1 pm, UFV employees are invited to Spaces of Belonging: 2SLGBTQ+ Perspectives on University Environments, a hybrid lecture by Dr. Robert Mizzi. Dr. Mizzi is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba and Canada Research Chair in Queer, Community, and Diversity Education. His recent books include the Palgrave Encyclopedia of Sexuality Education<\/em> and Queer Studies and Education: An International Reader<\/em>. More biographical and publication information is available at Dr. Mizzi\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This event is hosted by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee of UFV’s Faculty of Education. Community, and Human Development.<\/p>\n

For those attending in person, the location will be circulated prior to the event. In-person spaces are limited and refreshments will be available.<\/p>\n
