Join us on Thursday, Sept 26 on the UFV Abbotsford campus for a bloomin’ good time, and help us grow something special as we plant a brand new pollinator garden.<\/p>\n
Whether you\u2019re a budding gardener or have deep-rooted experience, everyone is welcome to dig in.<\/p>\n
Discover the root of our efforts by learning about native species and why they\u2019re so bee-loved by pollinators like butterflies, bees, and birds. You\u2019ll leaf with plenty of knowledge about how native plants help our ecosystem thrive. Before planting, join us for a stroll through the flora as we explore other campus gardens that are already buzzing with life.<\/p>\n
We have three time slots available:
\nA) 10 to 11:30 am
\nB) 11:30 am to 1 pm
\nC) 1 to 2 pm
\nPlease note that slots A and B include a talk from the Fraser Valley Conservancy and a tour of the existing gardens on campus.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s going to be a plant-tastic day of digging, learning, and getting our hands dirty for a greener, buzzier future! Don’t miss this “bee-utiful” opportunity to grow with us.<\/p>\n
