Join students from Global Development Studies (GDS) to explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 5 \u2013 Gender Equality. The event is centered around this year\u2019s International Women\u2019s Day theme of \u201cInspire Inclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n
Students from GDS 100 (A World of Development) and GDS 260 (Gender and Global Development) will present work on gender equality issues and facilitate hands-on activities for participants.<\/p>\n
Topics may include: intersectionality, gender and the environment, gender and food security, gender and education, gender and health and violence, gender and poverty and the economy, masculinities, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n
