At an online webinar on Monday, Jan 29, Stephanie Chan will talk about how to stay involved in helping your parents while balancing a career. She’ll discuss what you need to know to make informed decisions relating to your parents\u2019 care, and how to navigate the fragmented senior care and housing system in BC and the various resources available.<\/p>\n
Chan is a senior living advisor, and the founder and owner of two companies in the senior living industry. Her first company, Home to Home, started in 2007 and helps seniors and families with healthcare navigation, care planning, downsizing\/transitions and care management. Her newer venture, myCareBase, helps families find, hire, and manage professional caregivers to help aging parents stay living safely at home.<\/p>\n
Chan is also a past board member of the Caregivers\u2019 Association of BC.<\/p>\n
