The Involve Symposium is a program that supports and fosters the robust and innovative arts, the non-profit sector, and local sports organizations by providing relevant information and training to help build on the foundation of service that benefits the quality of life for all residents of Abbotsford.<\/p>\n
Join us on Wednesday, Nov 22 from 9 am to noon for this year’s Involve Symposium – Technology Edition. Admission is free, but registration is encouraged:<\/p>\n
One presentation is titled ‘Potential and Perils in Technology.’ Developments in technology have been a source of anxiety for human societies since the fatal flight of Icarus and the Tower of Babel. This session will be a practical guide to human flourishing in the midst of an evolving media landscape. Particular topics will include maintaining personal and professional social media accounts, navigating disinformation campaigns, and preparing for artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n
Another presentation is titled ‘Work Less, Grow More: Free Technology for Non-Profits’
