The University of the Fraser Valley looks forward to welcoming 10 acclaimed authors from across the province for a one-day celebration of British Columbia\u2019s literary brilliance.<\/p>\n
Headlining the Nov 4 event will be two Governor General\u2019s Award winning authors: Lorna Crozier, poet and Officer of the Order of Canada, and Darrel J. McLeod, Cree novelist, memoirist, and former land claims negotiator.<\/p>\n
Keynote addresses from Crozier and McLeod will close the day\u2019s events, which will also include workshops for aspiring writers and panel discussions with a wide range of poets, fiction, and non-fiction authors.<\/p>\n
All events are free and open to the public. Books by festival authors will be available for sale courtesy of our official bookseller, Western Sky Books.<\/p>\n
