COLLEGE STUDENT RETENTION PROGRAM (CSRP)<\/p>\n
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
\nTo provide additional career incentives to those college or university students in Fulltime studies who traditionally leave our company at the end of the seasonal periods to return to school.
\nTo build company loyalty and encourage students to consider a career at Costco when they graduate.<\/p>\n
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
\nHourly employees only.
\nFull-time college or university students pursuing an undergraduate degree.<\/p>\n
COMPONENTS AND PROCESS
\nParticipation will enable participants to retain:
\nTheir original hire dates
\nTheir accumulated hours toward their next wage increase.
\nParticipants must remain a full-time student status (minimum 12 credits per semester)
\nParticipants must be available to work when not engaged in school, without restrictions on hours.
\nParticipants can work a maximum of 20 hours per week when engaged in full-time school.
\nParticipants must work at least 200 hours in a 12-month period to remain eligible for this program.
\nParticipants must provide a school schedule; and complete a new CSRP enrolment and availability Form (PR03) to be approved by the location manager each time they leave for school or at the end of each seasonal period.
\nNote that failure to meet current or any future eligibility requirements will result in the participant\u2019s removal from the program.<\/p>\n
