We are thrilled to be back in-person after two years serving up fun at our Virtual Employee Breakfast Cook-Off. Members of our Senior Administration team will serve this special breakfast, and you will be eligible to win fabulous door prizes!<\/p>\n
The 2022 United Way and UFV Employee Giving<\/a> campaign runs November 1 to 29. Check UFV Now every Monday morning for campaign updates. All employees who donate during this period will be entered into a weekly prize draw. Donate early to increase your chances!<\/p>\n Gather your colleagues and meet us for breakfast on either or both dates:<\/p>\n Tues, Nov 1 Wed, Nov 2 Did you know over one third of UFV employees are donors? Donate today!<\/a><\/p>\n All gifts to UFV received by November 29 (Giving Tuesday) will be matched, doubling your impact!<\/p>\n Below is a joint letter from President and Vice Chancellor Joanne MacLean and FSA President Rod Hayward.<\/p>\n Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n We can\u2019t thank you enough for all you do as University of the Fraser Valley difference-makers. Through community engagement and supporting the causes we care about, we are engaging learners, transforming lives, and building community.<\/p>\n UFV employees are known for going above and beyond for our students and our community. As we enter the season of giving, please consider supporting the annual United Way and UFV Employee Giving campaign. This year we are focusing on United Way\u2019s programs supporting youth, seniors, and community and UFV\u2019s Emerging Priorities Fund. Thanks to supporters like you, there has been a ripple effect of impact throughout the community, and we look forward to working together to strengthen these vital connections to those who matter most. For each other.<\/p>\n To show our appreciation, we\u2019re thrilled to be returning to an in-person complimentary breakfast, served by your Senior Administration team, on Tuesday, November 1 in Abbotsford, and Wednesday, November 2 in Chilliwack. There\u2019s no need to RSVP; our team will make enough food for all who can join us! And we will have some door prizes to thank you for attending. You can make a one-time or monthly gift to United Way and UFV or sign up for payroll deduction.
