Dr. Dwayne Donald is a descendent of the amiskwaciwiyiniwak (Beaver Hills
\npeople) and works as a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University
\nof Alberta. His work focuses on ways in which Indigenous wisdom traditions
\ncan expand and enhance understandings of curriculum and pedagogy.
\nDr. Donald holds a Canada Research Chair in Reimagining Teacher Education
\nWith Indigenous Wisdom Traditions.<\/p>\n
This lecture will focus on unlearning colonialism and renewing kinship
\nrelations.<\/p>\n
