What do I need to know?<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New <\/span>licence plate recognition technology means UFV\u2019s hanging parking passes are no longer required.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is impacted?<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone <\/span>using a hanging pass to indicate payment of parking.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

W<\/span>hat do I need to do?<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are currently on payroll deductions, your <\/span>licence plate has already been recorded, and you don\u2019t have to do anything.\u00a0Please verify that you are on payroll deductions by checking your most recent paystub (under \u2018<\/span>Deductions after Federal Tax\u2019) <\/span>through <\/span>myUFV<\/a> <\/b>to avoid receiving parking tickets. Once confirmed, please recycle your old parking pass. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What if I use more than one car?<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you require <\/span><\/span>the addition of a secondary plate\u00a0or would like to confirm your plate(s), please submit <\/span>a request to\u00a0<\/span>parking@ufv.ca<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Please refer to the <\/span><\/span>parking website<\/span><\/span><\/a> to verify your eligibility for payroll deductions.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What if I don’t have a parking pass?<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Daily parking options are listed <\/span>on the <\/span>parking website<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
