Threats from password compromise, phishing emails, and malicious software are rapidly increasing. Multi-Factor Authentication provides an extra layer of security to your account, ensuring that only you have access to your account, even if your password is compromised.<\/p>\n

\nAfter September 1, when signing into some web-based services with your UFV email address and password, you may be asked to verify your identity using the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method that you have chosen such as a phone call or text message.<\/p>\n
\nIf you are already registered for MFA, no further action is necessary. You are ready to authenticate when you are asked to verify your identity.<\/p>\n
