UFV has a vision where fewer lives are lost through suicide. The Counselling department is dedicated to empowering our faculty, staff and communities to help keep our community safer from suicide by providing free in-person training in which you will learn to recognize and be able to respond to situations where suicide thoughts may be present. The FREE four-hour course is great for managers, coaches, advisors, leaders, and those in positions to help students. Spots are still available for the November 22 training session, 12:30 to 4:30 pm at the Abbotsford campus.
