\nThe workshop will focus on reflective activities and real-world scenarios that enable
\nstudents to understand their passions, purpose, and how they can link to their future
\ncareer aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After
\nstudents understand their unique qualities, they can evaluate how to use them to
\nprocess the SDGs in Canada and beyond. The workshop provides participants with an
\nunderstanding of why the SDGs are important, what skills are needed to achieve them,
\nand how they can personally contribute to the 2030 agenda through the future of work
\nin Canada.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Employers and industry representatives will share their career journeys, real-life
\nexperiences, insider-advice and tips to help you with your future career decisions. Those in
\nattendance are welcome to submit their questions for panelists in advance to cece@ufv.ca<\/a>;
\nor, time permitting, there will be a short question period at the end of the event.
\nPanelists will include representatives from: Fieldhouse Brewing, Royal Bank of Canada,
\nMNP, City of Abbotsford, CHASI Hub, and UFV.<\/p>\n
\nAll attendees will be invited to submit their name into a draw to win:
\nA virtual lunch with Marnie Wright, Associate VP Human Resources at UFV. Marnie has offered up her expertise in restructuring your resume for results and\/or providing some career coaching specific to your future goals.
