On Thursday, November 12, UFV will be hosting Canadian Blood Services for a blood donation clinic. Join the UFV Alumni Association, Biology and Chemistry Student Association, and the UFV Student Union Society as we partner together to give life!<\/p>\n
We have now signed up as Partners for Life with Canadian Blood Services. Partners for Life gives the UFV alumni community an opportunity to show our commitment to saving lives by donating blood, platelets, and plasma. Please register under our Partners for Life ID, and every time you donate blood it will count towards our goal! You only need to register once, and you don\u2019t have to be alumni to participate on our team.<\/p>\n

This is in compliance with public health authorities\u2019 requests to practice healthy physical distancing. Scheduled appointments support physical distancing and help minimize the number of people in our donor centres.<\/p>\n In response to COVID-19 outbreak, Canadian Blood Services has implemented enhanced cleaning procedures and a self-screening wellness station. This station will be set up outside the clinic. Click here for more information about Canadian Blood Services\u2019 enhanced wellness measures.<\/p>\n Blood and blood products are safe and not at risk of transmitting COVID-19.
