\nExhibition continues October 8, 2020.<\/p>\n

The S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery is reopening.<\/p>\n

The S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery will be welcoming back visitors to view part one of three from our series of BFA grad exhibitions, featuring Dana Mandeville\u2019s artwork Unbound, 2020, mixed media until October 8, 2020.<\/p>\n

With the help of family and friends, Mandeville collected hundreds of sticks and fastened them together with remnants of fabric to create hanging panels to form a spiral path. The work transforms the experiential understanding of the self to a collaborative effort of hope and communal spirit.<\/p>\n

What to know before you visit:<\/strong>
\nSince reopening, procedures have been put in place to ensure that the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery is safe and ready to welcome visitors.
\n\u2022 Wear a mask, face shield or face covering (mandatory in the gallery, effective September 1, 2020).
\n\u2022 At this time, we are only allowing a maximum of three people in the gallery at a time.
\n\u2022 Please keep two metres (six feet) apart.
\n\u2022 Do NOT touch any of the artworks.
\n\u2022 Do not visit if you are feeling unwell.
\n\u2022 Gallery hours: noon\u20135 pm, Mon\u2013Fri
\n\u2022 Admission is free.<\/p>\n
