The Teaching and Learning Centre is offering an ongoing MicroCourse series of workshops (essential Blackboard tools for online courses), with synchronous sessions for each MicroCourse scheduled weekly.<\/p>\n
Please note the addition of MicroCourse 8 — Managing Your Online Course in the listing.<\/p>\n
The primary objective of these MicroCourses is exploring the pedagogy behind the tools and how they can be used to:
\n*achieve learning objectives
\n*promote student engagement
\n*collaborate among peers and instructors
\n*creative easy-to-navigate course design
\n*assess student learning
\n*offer support to students
\n*create an online learning community.<\/p>\n
Each course consists of:
\n*a one-hour scheduled synchronous session
\n*an additional Blackboard course
\n*a one-hour asynchronous activity\/reading\/resource.<\/p>\n
