Gender Diversity<\/p>\n
This session intends to familiarize leaders with the operational considerations of supporting transgender students and employees and how to make the university more inclusive of transgender staff and students.<\/p>\n
TransFocus intends to provide attendees with the following learning outcomes:
\n– Increased awareness and understanding of key terminology and framework related to gender diversity
\n– Greater understanding and appreciation of the challenges and barriers that trans employees face
\n– Increased understanding of specific structural limitations and gaps that may exist at the university to determine how to address them
\n– Specific measures of how to be respectful and supportive of trans people<\/p>\n
