You are invited to a talk by our newly appointed SASI faculty associate, Dr. Adrienne Fast, Curator of Art and Visual Culture at the Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford. Dr. Fast\u2019s talk, titled \u201cHungry Bengal,\u201d looks at the 1943 Bengal Famine which was once referred to by the BBC as one of the \u201cthings we forgot to remember.\u201d Today, these events are little known or understood outside of India itself.<\/p>\n
