One of the hottest events at UFV is coming back!! Brought to you in partnership between the Peer Resource and Leadership Centre and Campus Rec. Glow Yoga is a high energy yoga event featuring glow sticks, black lights, glow in the dark body paint and a local live DJ!<\/p>\n
This event is suitable for all fitness levels and open to the whole UFV Community.<\/p>\n
This event is free with your UFV Campus Card and a donation to the UFV-SUS food bank.<\/p>\n
**Spaces and mats are limited so let us know you\u2019re coming! In your email, please specify if you are a UFV Alumni or a community member. Priority will go to UFV students, if we reach capacity.<\/p>\n We will be focusing on health, wellness and community all night long. This is a substance free event!<\/p>\n ▶ LOCATION ▶ WHAT TO WEAR ▶ GLOW PAINTING – GAMES – PRIZES – LIVE DJ – AND MORE<\/p>\n ▶ DATE & TIME Participants will need to sign a waiver on arrival, so make sure you arrive early! You will need your UFV Campus Card for this event. Once signed in you can get decked out with glow sticks, UV body paint, and more. Hang out, dance and take photos (tag #ufvstayandplay) until the yoga class starts! DJ Elixir will be spinning some great tracks. \nFor the full effect, you’ll want to wear your brightest, whitest, and most neon attire so that you’ll glow under the black lights. Wear clothing that is also comfortable to move in.<\/p>\n

\n7:00-7:20 pm: Warm-up those muscles with Heidi H, UFV’s Dance Fit instructor. There are no wrong move during warm-up!
\n7:20-8 pm: Rebecca M from Haven Yoga and Wellness, will lead you in a series of yoga poses, while DJ Elixir spins his hits.<\/p>\n
\nIf you own a mat, please bring it. For those that do not have a Yoga mats we will have some for people to borrow, only while supplies last.<\/p>\n
