The office of Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies (REGS) invites all to attend a meet-and-greet for UFV’s newest Canada Research Chair, Dr. Keith Thor Carlson, on Tues, September 24 (10-11:30 am) in the Gathering Place at UFV Chilliwack.<\/p>\n

Dr. Carlson is a Professor of History from the University of Saskatchewan, an honorary member of the St\u00f3:l\u014d Nation, and, as of this month, UFV\u2019s third Canada Research Chair.<\/p>\n

Dr. Carlson is a Tier 1 Research Chair in Indigenous and Community-Engaged History, having spent the last 27 years completing community-engaged scholarship (CES) with Indigenous partners in BC, Saskatchewan, Washington State, and the Philippines.<\/p>\n

We hope those who wish to welcome Dr. Carlson to the UFV family \u2014 and back home to BC \u2014 will join us on Sept 24.<\/p>\n

Coffee, tea, and light morning snacks will be provided.<\/p>\n
