This one-day practical institute will explore active learning and in particular student-centred pedagogy through cooperative learning. Various forms of group work will be appraised and in particular Team-Based Learning (TBL). Educators will learn about:
\n\u2022 how to nurture peer learning and peer mentoring in the classroom
\n\u2022 how to use authentic assessments to support the learners and the learning process
\n\u2022 how to incorporate TBL pedagogy into their teaching.<\/p>\n
