Consultation on L\u00e1l\u00e9m ye mest\u00edyexw: Re-envisioning a Structure for Indigenization at the University of the Fraser Valley (March 27)<\/p>\n
As the university accepts its multiple responsibilities and continues to lead the way in our community and among post-secondary institutes in Canada, it is critical that we look at addressing gaps, recognize new areas, and optimize our ability to be responsive. A draft proposal for L\u00e1l\u00e9m ye mest\u00edyexw (\u201cHouse of the Peoples\u201d) was developed, restructuring Indigenizing and Reconciliation education at UFV. As described in the posted document, Re-envisioning a Structure for Indigenization, the L\u00e1l\u00e9m ye mest\u00edyexw provides a home for Indigenization in which people come together to strengthen their presence and relationships.<\/p>\n
