Title: Promoting Interdisciplinary Learning across Business and Social Work<\/p>\n
Presenters: Anita Vaillancourt and Darrell Lim<\/p>\n
This presentation features an overview of a collaborative experiential learning strategy designed and delivered across the professional practice fields of Business and Social Work. Social Work and Business program students were provided with a learning opportunity designed to facilitate collaborative planning and discussion on questions associated with developing programs and services to promote improved quality of life for and support to vulnerable populations. The presenters will discuss the instructor and student experiences of this interdisciplinary learning activity and provide recommendations for further collaborative learning opportunities across disciplines.<\/p>\n
