Cascades Multi-Sport Camps
\nDuring this week your child will get to live the dream of being a Cascade athlete! This will be a week of fun and energy –an opportunity to refine existing skills as well as try some new sports, all while learning from the pros. Coaches and athletes from our varsity program will work alongside camp leaders to lead your child in fun drills and games. Sports will include basketball, volleyball, soccer, rugby, swimming, badminton and more!<\/p>\n
Camp options:
\nJuly 17-21, 2017 (Student Activity Centre, UFV Abbotsford**)
\nFull day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), $185
\nAges 8-10<\/p>\n
July 24-28, 2017 (Student Activity Centre, UFV Abbotsford**)
\nFull day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), $185
\nAges 11-13<\/p>\n
Aug. 8-11 (Canada Education Park, UFV Chilliwack)
\nFull day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), $150
\nAges 8-10 and 11-13<\/p>\n
** Drop-off and pick-up on the Thursday of the Abbotsford camps will be held at MRC Sports Complex, for soccer and swimming. Click here for address and directions.<\/p>\n
Campers will need to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, bathing suit and wear athletic clothing and footwear for both indoor and outdoor play. Parents are responsible for packing snacks and\/or lunch for their child.<\/p>\n

Learn from the pros! UFV men\u2019s basketball camp provides an excellent opportunity for participants to work on and develop fundamental skills and techniques. Camps are led by Cascades head coach Adam Friesen and current members of the UFV men\u2019s basketball team.<\/p>\n
Cascades Girls\/Boys Rowing
\nDates: August 14-18, 2017
\nLocation: Bedford Channel (Fort Langley)
\nGrades 7-12 \u2013 Full day (10 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m.) $175<\/p>\n
Engage in one of Canada\u2019s most successful Olympic sports under the guidance of UFV rowing head coach Liz Chisholm. Learn about rowing equipment, boat safety and handling, and of course how to row! We will also participate in additional activities like going for a hike, field sports and other wellness activities. This camp is open to students Grade 7-12, and will be held at UFV Rowing\u2019s home course on the Bedford Channel, in Fort Langley. Participants should be comfortable in the water and bring flip-flops or sandals, a hat, sunscreen, weather appropriate clothing, as well as a snack and water.<\/p>\n

\nDates: August 21-24, 2017

\nGrades 6, 7, 8 \u2013 half-day (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), $175
\nGrades 9, 10, 11, 12 \u2013 half-day (12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), $175<\/p>\n
Join head coach Mike Gilray and the UFV Cascades women\u2019s volleyball team for a week of skills development in a fun and positive learning environment. This camp will provide expert instruction in hitting, passing, setting and serving.<\/p>\n
