Darin Lee will join the University of the Fraser Valley as Chief Information Officer (CIO) effective March 7, 2016.<\/p>\n
Lee brings extensive university experience leading enterprise-level information system initiatives and aligning strategic organizational goals with innovative technology-based solutions. He is an exceptional communicator with a strong reputation for building collaborative relationships bridging both academic and administrative business units. Since 2011, Lee has been employed at OCAD University<\/a>, serving as the Director, Enterprise Resource Planning Implementation. In this role he led a cross-functional team in a multi-year, pan-university systems project involving changes in processes, culture, and technology.<\/p>\n Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University, and has completed the Application and Management of Information Technology (AMIT) program, and a Master’s Certificate for Business Analysts from University of Victoria. He is also a Change Management Certified Professional through ProSci Methodology.<\/p>\n His extensive experience in complex technology environments and proven record of implementing solutions benefiting the student experience make him a strong choice for UFV\u2019s first CIO.
