In her experience, having worked part time at The Gap clothing store while attending UFV allowed her to create connections with patrons of the store, who later interviewed her for her first position at the City of Abbotsford.<\/p>\n<p>After Taylor\u2019s introduction, the students addressed by George Murray, City Manager for the City of Abbotsford. With the focus being on job opportunities, Murray was very knowledgeable and supportive, encouraging students in all of the BBA options to get involved with local government in any way possible, including volunteering at the B.C. Summer Games, and pursuing co-op opportunities or part time employment.
