Shirley Bond, B.C. Minister for Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training, toured UFV on July 14, 2014, to talk about the new Skills for Jobs Blueprint the province rolled out a couple of months ago.

During her visit, she explained that her government is gearing up to meet the demand for a highly skilled workforce. She was impressed with the quality of programming delivered at UFV and expects the institution to play a key role in training the workforce of the future.
