Susan Francis takes on Continuing Education Manager role

Please join us in welcoming Susan Francis to the Continuing Education (CE) department as Manager of Continuing Education. Susan’s first official day in her new role is August 8, 2016.

Susan holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from UFV. She has worked in post-secondary for many years in various programming and leadership roles including Co-operative Education Coordinator, Acting Manager of Student Life, and Acting Director of Academic Integrity, Appeals, and FOIPOP at UFV. She has also been a sessional co-op faculty instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In addition to her varied employment roles, Susan also actively volunteers and has served with the UFV Alumni Board of Directors, Association for Co-operative Education Board of Directors, Accountability Council for Co-operative Education, and the and parent advisory council at her daughter’s school.

“The depth of knowledge, expertise, and passion Susan brings to her work within the community and Fraser Valley region is a welcome addition to the CE department,” said Liana Thompson, Director of Continuing Education.
