Tiina Higgins is the new the Executive Assistant to the Vice President — Students. Before coming to UFV, Tiina worked as Manager, Information and Office Services at Colleges Ontario in Toronto. Prior to that posting, she was the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Colleges Ontario (from 2003 to 2006). Prior to working at Colleges Ontario, Tiina worked as an office coordinator and executive assistant to the presidents of several private technology firms. Tiina holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in gerontology and one in psychology, both from McMaster University.
“Tiina’s experience as an office manager, executive assistant and project planner, combined with her formal education and training, make her a wonderful addition to our UFV team,” says VP Students Jody Gordon. “Please join our division in welcoming Tiina to UFV.”
